In our guesthouse and specially in the apartment Rainbow disabled guests are welcome cordialy. This apartment fits also well for elderly people who appreciate the comfort of an easy accessible holiday home with little assistant tools for every-day life.
The apartment is the only one listed as a barrier-free holidy home in the county of Bad Dürkheim (status July 2016). It was checked accurately by a particularly trained exoert of Rheinland-Pfalz Tourismus GmbH. You can drive into the courtyard up to some meters in fronzt of the the house entrance. Here you can get out of the car easily or change to your wheelchair. Using a small ramp (12%) yoou enter the apartment on ground floor without any stair. on the same level you will find the spa area just next door.
All doors and passsage ways areminimum 80 cm broad. The apartment provides sufficient room for a wheelchair driver and his fellow travellers. In the sleeping room disabled people have good access to the 55 cm high king size bed. The cupboard features sliding and pull out drawers.
Not really ideal, but feasible: The kitchen furniture and the washstand are not for underriding. However, wheelchair drivers in the bathroom cope with WC, washstand and the shower being accessed without floor barrier. We support you with stable variable handholds, where ever you need.
